Murcia - Eating out and nightlife
Murcian cuisine is based around wonderful local ingredients such as tomatoes, melons and other fruit and vegetables. There’s also plentiful seafood and succulent mountain-reared lamb. The city has good Spanish restaurants serving simply cooked traditional dishes and more elaborate creations. There’s international cuisine to suit every taste, too.
Bars and cafes are an integral part of Spanish society and Murcia’s climate means you can sit on the terrace all year round and enjoy watching the world go by as you sip a drink. The city’s main concentration of cafés is on the Calle de la Trapería. There are late night bars and clubs dotted throughout the city, with particular concentrations around Calle Doctor Fleming and Plaza Universidad.
