Puerto de MazarronThe new sports Marina opened in 2009 and is quite simply stunning. With berths for around 300 boats the Marina elevates Puerto de Mazarron to another league. Built next to the established fishing harbour, the new marina has a great selection of shops, restaurants and bars lining the quay side. A brand new underground car park has also been built, making parking a doddle. In the evening the bars and restaurants really come into their own and promenading around the marina, whilst taking "tapa's" and liquid refreshment is a very nice way to spend a few hours and very popular with locals and visitors alike. Charter boats and fishing trips are available, along with diving schools and other aquatic pursuits.
